St Thomas by the Sea Episcopal Church
St. Thomas by the Sea is a quaint Episcopal Church on the West end of Panama City Beach. We are a community of faithful followers of Jesus Christ. St. Thomas has a long history of sharing the gospel, and working to help those in need. We live into our Baptismal Covenant, striving for justice and peace among all people, and by respecting the dignity of every human being. Come and join us!

The Rev. Justin Boyd
The Rev. Justin Boyd came to the Episcopal Churches of Panama City Beach from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He spent the previous three years serving as the Associate Priest & Director of Student Ministries at Christ Church Episcopal, in Tulsa. Prior to his time at Christ Church he served as the Primary & Middle School Chaplain at Holland Hall Episcopal School in Tulsa.
Justin was born and raised in Wisconsin. He is a PK (preacher’s kid), and his family moved several times between Wisconsin and Oklahoma. He loves to hunt and fish, the outdoors, camping, golf, baseball, and football.
Justin received his B.A. in Musical Theatre from the University of Tulsa. Justin earned his Masters of Divinity in 2016 from The Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. Following graduation from seminary, he completed a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
Justin is married to Carmen, and they have a teenage son, Aidan. Carmen is a native Okie. She loves a vast array of music, traveling, and has a voice that will blow you away. Carmen and Justin are both classically trained opera singers. Aidan is an amazing kid who loves playing baseball, camping, shooting, riding his four-wheeler, video games, and hanging out with his friends.
We bleed Green & Gold during football season, cheering on our beloved Packers, and our hearts are in St. Louis during baseball season. Go Cards!! Our family loves music, food, and spending time together with friends.
